BUS: R-Line

The R-Line is Raleigh’s FREE bus downtown bus service. The 3 hybrid electric buses run a rout from the Raleigh Convention Center all the way to Peace Street, providing transportation to popular highlights such as the State Capitol, the Museum District, Red Hat Ampitheatre and Raleigh Government Complexes. 

BUS: GO Raleigh

Go Raleigh is Raleigh’s citywide bus system. The system was recently expanded to include more stops as part of the Wake Transit Plan. The Wake Transit Plan is Wake County’s response to increased need for public transportation as our city grows.

Transportation Beyond Raleigh

BUS: Go Triangle

Go Triangle is the tri-county wide bus system. There are routes from Fuquay-Varina to Hillsborough. Routes within Wake County are currently being expanded through the Wake Transit Plan.

AIR: Raleigh Durham International Airport

Raleigh Durham International Airport (RDU) is centrally located in the Triangle in Morrisville. RDU has 64 non-stop destinations and over 400 flights daily. 

RAIL: Union Station

Raleigh Union Station is Raleigh’s most recent transportation addition. Union Station is a multimodal facility housing both rail and bus transit.  There are 4 daily rail trips to Charlotte as well as the Silver Star line to the northeast and Florida. 

RAIL: Amtrak Cary

Tucked into Cary’s historic downtown is Amtrak Cary. it’s a quaint little station with quick and easy access.
