A little bit about Zebulon

Are you looking for homes for sale in Zebulon, NC? Zebulon is a small town located in Wake County with a population of around 5,000 people. It’s situated approximately 20 miles east of downtown Raleigh. Zebulon is one of the lesser expensive Triangle suburbs.

The town has a small-town feel, with a close-knit community and a slower pace of life than nearby urban areas. Downtown Zebulon is beginning to see new downtown revitalization with new businesses moving into town – including a bagpipe maker!

Zebulon is the furthest east of the towns that are generally considered part of the Raleigh area. Many builders have taken advantage of the availability of large tracts of land to develop modestly priced communities.

The Carolina Mudcats, an affiliate of the Milwaukee Brewers, play at Five County Stadium just outside of Zebulon.

The growth of the Triangle area has begun to give new life to downtown Zebulon. While not as polished and upscale as many of the downtowns in area towns, especially those in western Wake County, the downtown is home to new businesses, boutiques and a distillery. We like Zebulon as a rising star in the Triangle region for its affordability and growing dynamism.
